I'm a Believer was the theme of
the day at the Adams' Ranch on Saturday, March 1st as the first I Want a Diamond in 2008
campaign fundraiser debuted with sunshine, plenty of great food, clowns, live music and a whole lot of fun. With a slight
change of lyrics, the famed Monkees' song was performed flawlessly by Moonshadow. Attendees feasted on fare courtesy
of Dale's Barbecue and Summerlin's Fish Fry, with giant chocolate chip cookies baked special for the occasion by Scott VanDuzer
of Big Apple Pizza & Pasta in Fort Pierce and Diamond herself.
It was a fabulous day, with inspiration from the natural beauty of the Adams Ranch and a crowd
of enthusiastic supporters who strongly believe in our Public Defender, Diamond Litty, and all the wonderful and tax-saving
measures she's implemented in 16 years as our Public Defender.
In case you missed it, here are a few photos to share. If you want to know when the next FUNdraiser
will be held, please e-mail diamond@diamondlitty.com.
